He tried to arrange a meal for you, but you told him, "We haven't come for food, but for heartwarming. In response, the idol worshipper said, "My wealth was looted, but three things are worthy of gratitude. First, others looted my wealth, but I never looted anyone's wealth. Second, I still possess half of my wealth. Third, my faith remained intact."
You asked, "Why do you worship fire? He replied, "Just so that on the Day of Judgment, I remain safe from the fire of Hell and attain closeness to God. You said, "The reality of fire is such that if a child were to throw water on it, it would extinguish. Besides, you have been worshiping fire for 17 years, but until today, this fire has treated you with such kindness that, based on it, you expect betterment on the Day of Resurrection."
Impressed by your words, he said, "If you answer my four questions, I can believe in your religion. First, why did God create His creation? Second, why did He provide sustenance after creation? Third, why did He give life after death? Fourth, why did the need to revive arise after death? You gave the answers: "The purpose of creation is for the creation to recognize the Creator. The purpose of providing sustenance is to estimate His provision, and the purpose of death is to estimate His power and dominance. The purpose of life after death is to acknowledge His capability."
After saying this, you placed your hand in the fire for a long time, but your hand was not affected by the fire. Seeing this, the idol worshipper immediately embraced Islam.
